Today Chad Coles started putting together an integrated micro camera system to replace the rear mirrors in the car.

We are also considering having multiple cameras and displays inside the vehicles. For example, extra LCD displays in all support vehicles including the trailer and solar car giving everyone visual contact complementing the audio (radio) contact.

This also opens the door for other opportunities. The images can be taped and broadcasted to the web or a TV network.

Also, it is important to keep in mind the extra weight and energy consumption of these extra features.
